Meet Ess
Welcome to Ess Sea Tea. I’m Ess, a tarot reader and deck collector with a lifelong love of art, literature, and symbolism.
I have been reading tarot for more than seven years, but my interest in symbolic systems began much earlier. Around fifteen years ago, I started studying astrology and birth charts, fascinated by the way symbols can offer different perspectives on personality, relationships, and the patterns we encounter in life.
My background in literature and art naturally shaped how I approach the cards. I’m fascinated by symbols, archetypes, visual language, and the stories contained within an image. Tarot brings all of this together, which is probably why even after years of study, the cards still manage to surprise me.
Tarot has been a source of clarity and comfort for me, and I’m dedicated to sharing that with you. In our sessions, I aim to create a space where you can explore the insights tarot has to offer and discover the comfort and clarity you seek. Where it all began
My tarot story really began in 2019, after a breakup. I was looking for answers everywhere, as many of us do when the heart has turned life upside down.
One evening, while walking through my city, I saw a sign: Tarot course tonight.
Can you imagine?
I went in.
During that first experience, I heard things the reader had no possible reason to know about me. Somehow, they were there in the cards, and I left wanting to understand what had just happened.
I didn’t buy a deck immediately. I bought books.
I began studying tarot, its history and symbolism, and my first deck came later. Then another followed. And, eventually, many more. Today, alongside reading professionally, I’m an enthusiastic tarot deck collector, endlessly fascinated by the different worlds artists can create from the same seventy-eight cards.
